WAACCO is de naam waaronder ik mijn professionele activiteiten ontplooi. WAACCO levert journalistieke, redactionele en audiovisuele diensten aan onder andere kranten, tijdschriften, omroepen en producenten. Daarnaast initieert WAACCO eigen producties en formats voor televisie, radio en online.
Sinds 2015 richt ik me hoofdzakelijk op het maken van audio-producties. Dat doe ik vaak samen met Danielle Emans met wie ik De Kostgangers vorm. Wij maken radio-documentaires, podcasts en audiotours. Dat doen we voor de NPO, maar ook voor podcast-producenten als Dag & Nacht Media, Podimo, en voor culturele organisaties (musea) en kennis-instellingen (universiteiten). In het verleden hebben we tientallen workshops en masterclasses gegeven over het maken van verhalende podcasts.
Van 2000 tot en met 2006 werkte ik als (eind)redacteur en regisseur bij de VPRO, waar ik onder andere twee kunst en cultuurprogramma’s initieerde. Daarna werkte ik lange tijd voor Submarine, een productie studio gespecialiseerd in documentaire en vernieuwende online formats.

Waacco provides editorial and audiovisual services to newspapers, magazines, broadcasting companies and production studios. Futhermore Waacco develops crossmedia projects and formats for television.
From 2000 to 2006 I worked as director and editor at VPRO, the high-quality national broadcaster internationally known for its groundbreaking and engaging television programs, initiating two new TV-shows about art and culture.
Later I worked for crossmedia production company Submarine and SubmarineChannel. Submarine specializes in documentaries, games and animation. e, one with a global perspective on digital culture.
Since 2015 I make audio productions together with Danielle Emans.
